With November upon us, many writers and artistic creators alike are putting their noses to the grind for National Novel Writing Month.

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a creative writing experience where participants attempt to pen a novel within the confines of the month of November. The catch? This means writing 50,000 words in one month.

While that seems like an insane goal, writers find aid in online forums, pep-talks and lots of coffee. Many notable authors have claimed to write their best sellers (or at least a first draft of it) during NaNoWriMo.

Learn more about this approach at NaNoWriMo's website, and start writing either on your own or by signing up online! Even being a few days behind wouldn't hinder those dedicated to their art, so give it a try!
