12 Easy Nail Designs You Need To Try ASAP

Some blessed souls in this world have a true knack for nail art. Some people prefer the simpleness of solid colored nails or no nail polish at all. But, some of the less fortunate ones out there are sick of solid colored nails and fail every time they try to do something different. If you’re part of the latter, you’re in luck. These 12 nail designs are close to effortless and require no skills at all, only hands. Try these designs ASAP and watch your nail game transform within minutes.

1. Chic line design

There's nothing more magical than lines when it comes to nail art. You can make all of the lines vertical, horizontal or you can mix it up. Use a nail polish pen to draw them on. If that takes too much skill/effort, use nail stickers to quickly draw a perfectly straight line.

2. Diagonal shapes

Paint your nails a solid color or no color at all, then place a piece of tape on some of all of your nails. Paint over the tape, then pull it off to get a diagonal design!

3. Graffiti look

Pretend you're back in kindergarten and start scribbling! It can't get any easier than this.

4. Thick half-stripe

Paint your nails a dark color and accent it with a lightly colored thick stripe. Reverse the dark and light colors, if you're feeling risky.

5. Polka dots

Polka dots are way harder to create than they seem, but with the help of a bobby pin, the level of difficulty drastically decreases.

6. Strategically placed dots

A few dots can go a long way. You can really make anything from a flower to a line of dots across the tips of your nails.

7. Ombre

Ombre nails are intimidating, but they're actually way easier than they seem. Choose the colors you desire, grab a sponge and place the colors in lines from lightest to darkest or vice versa. Dab the sponge onto your nails, reapply nail polish to the sponge when necessary and voila! You're basically a nail expert now.

8. Triangle designs

Paint your nails one color, then use tape to create these adorably chic triangle designs!

9. Lazy girl design

Try a single dot on nails that aren't even painted. Talk about a super lazy way to amp up your nail game!

10. Half and half

The directions are pretty straightforward. Paint half of your nails one color and paint the other half a different color!

11. Splatter paint

For this one, all you have to do is literally throw nail polish on! A little messy, but worth it.

12. Half moon design

Reinforcement stickers can do more than hold your paper together. Paint your nails one color, place the sticker in whatever position you desire and paint over the sticker. This design is so easy, you can do it in your sleep!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine.
