For three weeks in January I was granted the wonderful opportunity to travel the entire country of Vietnam through a school program. This trip was a life changing experience and I was amazed by the beautiful terrain and geography throughout the country. While at first it took a couple of days to get acclimated to the different culture in southeast Asia, but after a week I felt like a local. I no longer was getting tripped up with which bills to use when paying, I was bargaining prices at the market, ate pounds of rice for all three meals each day, and continued my decently cold showers when the power would unexpectedly go out. These three weeks taught me more about myself and the importance of never taking what you have for granted. After constantly being surrounded by picture perfect locations and geography, I am missing the beautiful views now being back in Greencastle. I decided to share some of Vietnam's beauty with you, but believe me when I say that pictures don't even do it justice. Sorry to overwhelm you with the excessive number, was too hard to narrow down.
