1. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Journey into another dimension by taking a ride on this maintenance service elevator. The Hollywood Tower Hotel has been abandoned since 1939, when five unlucky guests were riding in an elevator when the building was struck by lightning. Will you dare to travel into the 5th dimension? This ride is widely enjoyed by many ages, but I would recommend not taking young children as there are drops and it does occur in the dark.
2. The Great Movie Ride
The Great Movie Ride is your chance to journey into the movies. Once aboard the tram you will be guided on a 22 minute tour through some of the greatest movies known to Hollywood. Sing along with Gene Kelly as he's "Singin' in the Rain", dance on the rooftops with Mary Poppins and Bert, experience what it must have felt like on that rainy night in "Casablanca" and so much more. This ride will teach you so much about the different movies while also entertaining you. There are a few parts of the ride that younger children may be scared by.
3. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
On Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin you become a space range in hopes to help defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. This is an arcade type game where you use laser blasters to hit the "Zs" that are placed throughout the ride in order to earn points. Every time I rode it with someone new we would turn it into a competition to see who could score the most points. It is a ride that will be enjoyed by everyone in your family.
4. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Staring Aerosmith
It's a race against time as you speed on darkened freeways in hopes of making it to the Aerosmith concert in time. This fast and thrilling indoor roller coaster is filled with loops, turns and plenty of speed so buckle your seat belt as you go from 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds. I'm not a big roller coaster person, but this is one ride that I have found that I love. Beware that it is an indoor roller coaster that takes place in the dark.
5. The Haunted Mansion
Go for a mystical tour of this eerie estate where 999 happy haunts wait to meet you. This ride is one of my favorites, because of the different lighting effects that are used. It's fun to be able to see the ghosts dancing in the ballroom or the hitch hiking ghosts trying to catch a ride with you. There's always room for another, will you be a volunteer?
