Every December people begin thinking of what they want their resolution to be for the new year and in recent years people have really been hating on this concept. People have become very pessimistic to the whole idea because "it never works out." While this may be sort of true as most gym memberships that were bought in January go unused once February comes around, I think the idea is great. I love the concept of resolutions and I don't think people should be so quick to think the idea is stupid.
The way I look at at people should make resolutions and goals all year round. Start and January and make as many as you want. Try to take chances, be kinder, give back, spend more time with family, relax more, eat better. Make them, break them or accomplish them and make another. I don't think we should be so quick to judge people for trying to improve themselves and we should all take the challenge to be better. Not just because a new year is coming around, but all throughout the new year. We should make goals all year long and encourage one another to succeed. You shouldn't try to achieve a nearly impossible goal just because it's the start of January, but make smaller goals all throughout the year.
Happy New Year! Here's to achieving goals in 2017!
