My little nerdy heart.
David Tennant has to be one of my favorite doctors of all time. In my opinion, he really did the Tenth Doctor justice. I couldn't see anyone else portraying the Tenth Doctor but David.
On the show, "Doctor Who" which is way to complicated and beautiful to understand unless you watch it (which you should because it's awesome) after a certain period of time, or injury The Doctor regenerates.
At first, when I started the second season with David Tennant as The Doctor I did not like him. I was still getting over the regeneration of Christopher Eccleston who played the Ninth Doctor. Over time, I began to love The Tenth Doctor. There wasn't anything I didn't like about him. As always, there came a time where he had to regenerate as well. After David, Matt Smith played the 11th Doctor and Peter Capaldi is currently playing the 12th.
I recently discovered an article which said that David Tennant was going to be in]a new "Family Guy" episode featuring "Doctor Who" called "Doctor Who Farted?" Needless to say, my little "Whovian" (term for doctor who fans) heart went a thousand miles an hour. You can see the 15-second cameo appearance here at one minute and five seconds. Although it isn't much, it's great to see David Tennant in a somewhat "Doctor Who" role again.
I could honestly see The Tenth Doctor doing something like what he does in the family guy clip in the actual show. Although I love all the cast on the series, there are a few people I miss seeing.
Thank you "Family Guy" for making my nerdy little heart soar, and giving one of my favorite actors another chance at playing the role he was born to play. There really needs to be more episodes like this. Not only on "Family Guy" but other shows as well.
