In the real world, we are forced to approach people face to face, introduce ourselves and gauge the best way to start a conversation. On Tinder, we are only allowed to talk to people who we have “swiped right” for, which indicates a mutual attraction between both parties. Tinder allows us to match with multiple people in a short amount of time. In order to distinguish ourselves, we must find unique ways to start conversations. Some pick-up lines are cute and charming, while others are weird and creepy. Luckily, Tinder allows me to entertain myself and embrace my sarcastic side.
