2016 has been a year full of new things for me- one of which included buying my own DSLR camera. I have always loved photography because I believe images can capture one second, yet still tell a whole story. The people that were there remember the background and what happened after the snapshot. The people who are seeing it for the first time are creating their own story. Each person interprets the same image differently.

I am constantly learning new tricks and am by no means a professional. But the reason I love it so much is because while I’m having fun taking pictures and being creative, my pictures are creating emotions in other people. In a world full of technology, I am putting mine to good use by preserving my memories. I am lucky to have found something I am able to call a passion.

And I took pictures of the people around me

No matter where I go next or who I'm with, I can't wait to have my camera ready for the perfect shot. I can't wait to see what the next year holds.
