My Holiday Poem

Peace love and joy

Stockings full, candles lit

Not enough time to knit

Smiles, laughter, and happiness

Getting in the holiday spirit

We all love Christmas cheer

Sing loud enough for all to hear

Time with the family we love

Like a pair of doves

Flying through the sky

Not a worry in the world

Christmas gifts we can’t deny

Cookies and milk to share

Santa Claus is coming

Down the chimney beware

Wine nights and Christmas lights

Decorate the house

Don’t be scared of heights

Wroof wroof your dogs go

Excited to open and exchange presents

Wondering if it’s going to snow

Together with everyone you love

Coming home for the holidays is the best

But don’t forget to make room for the rest

Enjoy the holidays and be thankful

Cherish every moment

Cook meals for everyone

Desserts and pies

There’s no room for lies

Christmas and New years

There’s only room for cheers

Make it better then the last one

There’s always more to be done

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
