With the year at its close, I figured that it was a good time to reflect on the best things that happened in 2017. I also have to state that I am sorry for my absence from Odyssey these last few weeks. I thought that my mental health should come first, but nonetheless, I a, bettered by writing. Here it goes.

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
