My Favorite And Least Favorite Things About Pokemon Sun And Moon
Pokemon

I was late to the new Pokemon train, but when I first got Pokemon Sun, it took a bit for the game to grow on me. I was a bit stuck in the old days, having recently finished Pokemon White Version 2. I have Pokemon x and Alpha Sapphire, but I went back and played Pokemon White Version 2 because I'd never played fifth generation, and it was definitely worth it. In this article, I'm going to talk about my favorite and least favorite things in the new game that I've noticed so far (I'm only just getting to the grand trial) in Pokemon Sun.

Favorites: I like his they tell you what moves are effective against what types. Of course it makes the games painfully easy, but it's nice having that guide there, especially for people who've never played the game before. I also love how you can summon Pokemon for the things you need versus having to first own a Pokemon and then waste a move slot on teaching it a HM, and usually HMs are painfully ineffective or a waste of space when there could be other better moves to complete the move set. I love how you can once again customize your character like you could in Pokemon x and Y. Representation is extremely important, and I'm glad we're not stuck to the usual Caucasian characters they'd had for ages. It's nice to be able to change the skin color. Lastly, some of the Alolan Pokemon are delightfully strange looking, and it's nice to see some of the classic Pokemon get revamped like Grimer and Meowth. The Alolan form of Vulpix is just downright beautiful. It looks like a cloud.

Least Favorites: I don't like how you can only fish in specific places in the ocean. I think it's pretty bogas that you can only fish in like, one spot in an entire pond or lake in the game. It seems like a waste. It also seems like there's way too many darn Magikarps, but maybe that's because I haven't gotten far in the game yet. Gyarados is nice, but please, make the Magikarp to other water type Pokemon ratio a little more even. Another thing, Maybe this makes me a weak trainer in general, but I hate how they're pushing the Pokemon Refresh down our throats. Yes, Pokemon Amie (in Pokemon X and Alpha Sapphire) were really sweet, I actually really enjoyed playing with my Togekiss after long battles, but it seems like now if you don't play with the Pokemon and clean them up after battles every single time, they seem to like you less. I think if they want to focus so much on the caring aspect, they should make a seperate game for that. Nintendogs Pokemon style, not sure, but don't shove it down the trainer's throats. Keep it simple.

Overall, I love the new Pokemon Generation. I think it's clean, well put together the graphics are better, the mechanics of the game overall are better, I just enjoy it a lot. It's ended up taking more of my time than I anticipated or prepared for, but it's fine, eventually I'll have yet another Togekiss, and all will be well in the world.

PS: Did you know in Pokemon Black and White Version 2, if you complete every floor in the Battle Treehouse, you will win a shiny Pokemon? In White Version 2, it's a shiny Dratini, and in Black Version 2, it's a shiny Gible. Have fun!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
