Music festivals are happening year-round, whether you’re aware of it or not. Coming from New York City has given me many opportunities to attend Governors Ball, Panorama, The Meadows, Ezoo, EDC...the list goes on and on.
There are many reasons why I love music festivals, one of them being the line-ups. Can you imagine seeing three of your favorite artists in one single day of a three-day weekend?!? You also get to see artists that you’ve never seen before and fall in love with as their music as their tunes flood into the crowds.
Next, just think of all the different food vendors you get to try out! In NYC, the festival releases a food line-up as well. Without this, I wouldn’t be able to try the famous "Ramen Burger"and the outrageous Blacktap milkshake.
Another amazing aspect of most music festivals is that they need volunteers. As a volunteer, you can attend the festival in exchange for clean-up at the end of the day or work as a staff member for certain hours during the festival, but still get to watch and listen to the bands play their set list.
Lastly, you can let loose and listen to your favorite bands with thousands of other people who also love and appreciate their music.
