Everyone loves a good Disney movie. There is no use in denying yourself the simple pleasures of life, so do not even lie to yourself about this. You probably have your favorite princess and the go-to movie that never gets tiring, but it is obvious that there is one classic Disney movie that will always reign supreme. "Mulan" is by far one of the best Disney movies that has ever been created for these six reasons:

1. Mulan is empowering.

Mulan demonstrates so much confidence and perseverance throughout the film. She does not care that people doubt her because she will just prove them wrong! Her attitude and achievements remind us that we can do anything we put our minds to.Mulan demonstrates so much confidence and perseverance throughout the film. 2. Li Shang is a total babe.

Okay yeah, I get it, Li Shang is a cartoon character. But if he was a real person, I would totally have a crush on him.

3. The soundtrack!!!

"I'll Make a Man Out of You" and "A Girl Worth Fighting For" will NEVER get old! They are so catchy and fun to sing along to. Plus, "Reflection" is there for you when you get into your feels and your thoughts feel overwhelming. The instrumentals as well are beautiful and eerily calming. Overall, the soundtrack is a 10/10 and has something for everyone.

4. Mushu's antics provide the perfect comedic relief.

Mulan's sidekick and his hilarious one-liners definitely cannot be forgotten. Mushu is one of the funniest, as well as most mischievous Disney sidekicks. Plus, he's a literal dragon! How much cooler could this little guy get?

5. Mulan teaches us the importance of family.

Mulan was willing to go to war to protect her father and family name! At the end of it all, Mulan's family was glad she was back home safe and gladly welcomed her. I understand that not everyone has a healthy relationship with their family/parents, but do not take them for granted if they are unconditionally there for you.

6. Grandmother Fa is the crazy old lady we all want to be.

Mulan's grandmother is a little bit insane, but she's also hilarious. We all want to be the fun grandma who gambles with her son-in-law and believes in lucky crickets. She's young-at-heart and an extremely lovable character that adds to the greatness of the film.

Overall, I think we can all agree that "Mulan"is a great movie that can teach us about confidence, empowerment, and finding the light in any situation. It is definitely a classic, and you should watch it if you have never seen it. Or you should watch it again because it never gets old.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
