As a muggle, visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter can be quite an experience. The sights of moving images, goblin bankers, dementors and wizards of all ages is unlike any other. When entering such a world of magic and uniqueness, an average muggle like myself, was bound to have some questions such as :

1. What's a toad in the hole?

Thanks to speculated fellow muggle J.K. Rowling, us "non-magic folk" have heard all about some of the magic world's best places to eat. Naturally, we had to make a stop at the Leaky Cauldron (that's in London). While the atmosphere was incredible and the walk to the restaurant is full of eye-catching detail and fun, some of the menu items were a little strange. Toad in the hole? Banger? I and my muggle friends needed some guidance.

2. Where's the butterbeer?

There are plenty of places to get your hands on this wizard favorite! Including The Leaky Cauldron and in Hogsmeade. The real question is do you go for a classic butterbeer, frozen, served hot, or butterbeer ice cream? Stop by Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour in Diagon Alley if you prefer your butterbeer on a cone.

3. Is "He Who Must Not Be Named" lurking about?

I never saw Voldemort (dare I say his name) on my trip to the wizarding world. But, I did see some other forces of dark magic including dementors and the basilisc itself.

4. How do I choose a wand?

Well, of course, you have to make your way to Olivander's but then what? The selection is huge and all the details are overwhelming. Dragon heartstrings? Phoenix feathers? Well as Mr. Olivander told us years ago :

5. Is this dementor going to suck out my soul?

On the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey Ride, muggles take a small tour through the castle. After meeting the live portraits of Hogwarts' founders, seeing Dumbledore's office - complete with an actual griffin door, and plenty of famous one-liners, muggles can travel with Harry through the grounds on an eventful flight. But the adventure also takes riders through some dangerous scenes including those filled with soul-seeking dementors.

6. Which house am I really?

As your time in the Wizarding World reaches its end you may ask yourself which house would you be sorted in to? While there is no sure way of knowing, it can be revealed in your selection of apparel. Let's just say my selection reflects some of the more misunderstood characters and may be of green and silver.

7. When is my Hogwarts letter coming?

When the day has reached its end and the park is starting to close, muggles begin there way back to the regular world. It's only natural to sadly look back at the magic of your day and ask "when will my letter come?"

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
