Why MTV Fans Know Lauren Conrad Will Always Be Their #Goals

Lauren Conrad, or LC, as her friends used to call her, never failed to make you wish you were her. From the time she was a senior in high school to her pretty much taking over Los Angeles, she has never failed to impress, well, everyone. She always made life look easy, no matter what nonsense she might have been dealing with at the time. Have you ever seen a more perfect human being? I think not. Let's take a look at why Lauren Conrad will be your "goals" now and forever, as long as we shall live.

She knows what it means to be a true friend.

She always put her friends first, and whether they liked it or not, she told them what they needed to hear rather than what they wanted to hear, because she had their best interest at heart.

She was dedicated to her work.

Between fashion shows, parties, big dinners, and traveling the world, she definitely proved herself in the fashion world. No matter what a boss asked of her, she did it and made a name for herself. Look at her now; she has her own business, several fashion lines, and is the author of several best sellers. I guess she knows the meaning behind "if you want something, go get it." (And no one ever refers to her as the girl who didn't go to Paris, nice try, Lisa Love.)

And I guess it makes sense that since she's a huge part of the fashion world, since she's always dressed to impress.

I don't recall ever seeing a picture or video of her looking back. She's always been a firm believer in impressions, especially when it came to how you dress. "Always dress nicer than you think you should." Thanks, LC.

She knew to never settle for a guy.

Often said she had a "one date curse," but that's because she knew not to waste her time with anyone who wasn't worth it. She knew exactly the type of guy she wanted to be with, and can you blame her for not wanting anything less?

She never forgot where she came from.

Sure, we watched her on TV, and her high school days were a tiny bit more exciting than the rest of ours, but she knew to never forget the people back home. Whether it be her family or her closest friends from high school, she's held on to the ones who matter the most.

And alright, alright, she just straight up lived a fab life, and you could never help but be jealous.

To be honest, you're still jealous to this day. Did she get to do a lot because of reality television? Well, that's a given. But she was always the classiest while doing it. Between having the most amazing job duties, going on dates with the most attractive men, and a crazy nightlife, Lauren Conrad had and will continue to have it all.

(And of course, we couldn't end without a little Brody Jenner.)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
