Great Movie Suggestions For A Girls Night

What better way to have a girls night than with some buttery popcorn and a good movie?

These past two years, I had quite a handful of girls nights with friends, and most of them involved a movie.

And being someone who loves movies, I can think of several suggestions!

1. "27 Dresses"

A romantic comedy like this is just the medicine you need when you're in the mood for a good laugh!

2. "Ever After"

This is my favorite Cinderella version because in this one there's a nice stepsister :)

3. "The Fault in Our Stars"

I watched this with my friends for a girls night and we laughed and cried. Who doesn't love a movie like that? Also, how can you not love Shai and Ansel?

4. "Letters to Juliet"

Okay, two things:

A). How can you not like a movie with Amanda Seyfried in it?

B). Who doesn't love such an amazing love story?

5. "Me Before You"

If you like "The Fault in Our Stars," then you will love this one too!

6. "A Cinderella Story"

All I can say is that this is another awesome Cinderella movie! Any girl in the world would probably want a boy like Prince Charming, Austin Ames.

7. "Aquamarine"

What girl doesn't like a movie with a young mermaid looking for true love?

8. "Steel Magnolias"

This is one movie with Julia Roberts, Sally Field, and Dolly Parton that is guaranteed to keep you laughing nearly the entire time!

9. "Beauty and the Beast" (2017)

I almost like this one better than the original. I was thrilled when I found out Emma Watson was cast as Belle (and that Emma Thompson was Mrs. Potts)! I love the new music, the new characters, and everything!

10. "The Parent Trap" (1998)

I watched this one night with my friends and got a bigger kick out of it than when I was a kid. I was realizing stuff I haven't realized before (like how is it that the help figures it out and not the parents? Lol!).

11. "Monte Carlo"

A comedy that involves a trip to Paris gone wrong, and then snowballs from there!

12. "The Princess Bride"

The story of Westley and Buttercup never gets old. Also, everyone loves the famous line, "You killed my father. Prepare to die!"

Any of these movies, in my opinion, would make you and any of your girlfriends laugh when you need to. I highly recommend them for your girls' nights!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
