You might not openly admit most of the time but you need some extra motivation every now and then, so what better people to get that motivation from than your favorite Parks and Recreation characters. Throughout the show's seven seasons the crew made you laugh, cry, and many other emotions, so why not be motivated by them on the daily?

1. "I am big enough to admit I am often inspired by myself." - Leslie Knope

YOU HAVE TO HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF, AND IT IS OKAY TO. On the days when you are feeling bad about yourself, just believe in yourself. Once you start believing in yourself, you can do everything you set your heart to.

2. "There is literally nothing in this world that you cannot do." - Chris Traeger

You can do everything! On the days that you are feeling down and that you can't do anything, just know that you can!

3. "Look in the mirror, you are an intelligent, charismatic, beautiful superhero." - Chris Traeger

Sometimes you just have to give yourself little pep talk! You are intelligent, so you are going to pass that test. You are so beautiful and charismatic, and you are going to have a great day!

4. "I have no idea what I'm doing, but I know I'm doing it really, really well." - Andy Dwyer

You can't succeed if you don't experience failure first. You might not know what you are doing, but the fact that you are attempting to do with all of your heart means you are going to do just fine.

5. "Treat yo self." - Tom Haverford and Donna

Having a bad day but were still able to go to class and kick butt on that quiz? Go buy that venti latte or that new tie-dye dress that you have been eyeing. By treating yourself, you are giving yourself that little pick-me-up that you need to finish the day strong.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
