Meaning, seize the day! This quote is well known for its use in Dead Poet's Society by Robin Williams. May we all live each day to its fullest.

2. Mandala

A mandala represents harmony and unity by creating a visually balanced symbol.

3. Semicolon

Your life is a sentence, and although there may have been a time where you considered ending it, you continued on.

4. "Meraki"

In Greek this word is used to describe doing something out of creative, soul, or love; when you put "something of yourself" into all that you do.

In Latin this phrase means "Light in Darkness". Whether that may mean being the light yourself or finding the light.

6. Zen circle

The chinese symbol entails two uninhibited brush strokes symbolizing the moment in which the mind and body is free to create.

7. Lotus flower

A lotus flower has the capability to grow even through mud, and is always flourishing freshly by day. In Buddhism, a lotus flower represents the purity of speech, mind, and body. In Hinduism, it represents beauty and awakening.

From Allison Weiss' song "Out Of This Alive"

9. "I am enough"

A reminder most of us need... every day. We are enough.

10. "You are an expression of the universe"

Originiating from Eckhart Tolle's quote, "You are the universe, expressing itself as a human for a little while." This quote came from an interview with Oprah. I find this quote absolutely intriguing.

11. Serotonin molecule

Serotonin is a natural mood stabilizer. People with depression have been commonly found with low levels of serotonin. The mind has such control over the body, effecting sleep and eating habits as well as overall mood. Serotonin is a symbol of happiness.

14. "It has been a beautiful fight; still is"

"It" being life, has surely been a fight- a beautiful, ongoing fight.

15. "Like the wind I am free"

Like the wind I am free to be me, love, worship, express myself, etc.

16. "I Lived"

Through it all, the highs and lows, I have lived. There is such power in knowing we have endured all of our once darkest hours.

17. "Let it be"

Most say to "let it go", but why not just "let it be"? We don't have control over each other, only ourselves. We must accept reality, and let it be.

18. "Love / Life / Death - Doesn't Discriminate"

From Hamilton's "Wait For It"

19. "It is well"

From the hymn "It Is Well With My Soul" penned by Horatio Spafford. Spafford wrote this after experiencing the traumatic death of his son. He accepted that there are some events in life that we will never understand; whether they happened for a reason or not. He trusted that his God had greater plans.

20. World

Because don't we all have the urge to explore this plentiful earth? I have friends in all different parts of the world. I dream of serving many different countries, speaking multiple languages, and ultimately leaving my mark on this world.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
