1. Got A Feelin'- Rookie Season

My go to song on the drive home from a long day of class.

2. Nobody Speak- DJ Shadow ft. Run The Jewels

If there is such thing as a pump up song for school, this is it.

3. Slack Jaw (Acoustic)- Sylvan Esso

Proper song for a proper study session.

4. In Cold Blood- Baauer Remix- Alt-J

My end of the week, "Thank god I don't need to share another fun fact about me for the first week of school" song

5. Dive Deep- Andrew Belle

This one is best experienced with a cup of tea at the end of a rough Monday.

6. Copycat- Billie Eilish

Lunch break pick-me-up. Highly recommend listening to every song she has put out.

7. Sit Next To Me- Foster The People

Perfect choice to enjoy that Saturday morning.

A classic Sunday afternoon tune to unwind before the reality of Monday sets in.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
