Dear Mom and Dad,
Since, I began college and moved four hours away from y'all it made me think of how much I appreciated everything that you guys have done and continue to do. Thank you for always supporting my decisions and for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for allowing me to follow me dreams no matter how crazy they may seem. Thank you for always being a phone call away and for randomly putting money in my account because you know I need Starbucks to conquer my tough days. Thank you for jamming out with me in the car.
When I decided that I wanted to be a part of Greek life you guys supported me 100 percent. You tried very hard to understand everything about recruitment and when I finally found my home you guys cried tears of joy with me. Thank you for trying to understand when I talk about my big or my other family members. Thank you for trying to learn my hand sign and taking pictures with me of us throwing what we know. Thank you for buying me endless t-shirts for understanding the stress of finding a formal date
In high school, thanks for the countless early morning rides to SAT tutoring or when late night rides from football games. Thank you for teaching me to drive, no matter how scary it was. Thank you for sitting through endless teacher conferences and honor ceremonies. Thank you for sitting in the beaming sun for hours to watch me graduate and for being the loudest you can be. Thank you for treating my friends as if they were your own children. Thank you for driving to endless early morning gymnastic practices and doctor appointments.
Thanks for putting up with my picky eating and me always nagging about wanting more clothes. Thank you for sending me endless pictures of the dog and for not replacing me with another animal. Thank you for always taking me out to my favorite restaurants when I am back home and for driving through endless traffic to visit me. Thank you for understanding my love for oversized clothing and Taylor Swift.
Thank you for the endless trust that you instill in me. From allowing me to drive all over the city to picking where I wanted to go to school. Thank you for raising me to be such an amazing person. Thank you for teaching me that I don't deserve anything but the best. Thank you for teaching me to keep my head held high and to keep going when things got tough. Lastly, thank you for being the best parents a girl could possibly ask for.
Love,
Your Favorite Human Being
