Being in college is all fun and games until you realize it's 3 A.M. and you have an 8 A.M. in the morning... and you're still "lit" until your class begins. You then proceed to get to class and either think you should have skipped that class or never went out the night before. This is just a glimpse of what college mistakes you should avoid.

1. If it's a school night, say NO.

Do not stay out all hours of the night when you have an 8 A.M. the next day. You're going to lose focus, and if you have a test that day, you're most likely screwed. Do yourself a favor. Either schedule later classes or just stay in.

2. Don't skip class to get food.

I understand you get hungry during your 3-hour lecture, but bring snacks. Don't skip out on a lecture that could be important, just to get Taco Bell. The food will be there after class.

3. Do not procrastinate.

If you're like me, you like waiting last minute to do everything. It's only going to pile up and you're going to stress to the max over this. Do the assignment when its assigned and study a week in advance before the test.

4. Don't hook up with any classmates.

Unless you're ready for a semester of awkward lectures, do not hook up with a classmate. I, for one, cannot sit through an entire class, feeling like I'm being watched by a former hookup the whole time.

5. Don't stop your social life for a class.

Seriously. I try to go see my friends at least three times a week. I also try to keep an active fitness schedule and eat clean all while maintaining classes and two jobs. It's not easy but its going to be rewarding in the end.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
