I was never one who felt like God was calling me to go do His work and spread His grace to people all over. I am too socially awkward and don't like talking to anyone I don't already know. But, mission trips opened my eyes to the greater side of it all. They made me realize that anyone can do it and because of that, I will always go.
They open you up.

GiphyI have had my fair share of struggles with my religious relationship. I have had questions, I have had little hope, it's been rough. But, going on these trips has helped me see that I am never alone and has helped me form an unending bond with God.
Mission trips aren't always sunshine and rainbows. They will open up a part of you that you didn't know existed. I have spent hours crying, laughing, and reflecting. They open your eyes to a whole new world, and I will never stop going on them.
