Your reaction when your professor says you can't pass the class if you fail the midterm.

I can't pass? What do you mean I cant' pass? Why can't I pass?

When your friends go out, but you have to stay home and study.

I want to come though!

That moment when people are being really loud outside your apartment.

Hey! People are trying to study here! ... YOUTHS!

The random outburst you have when some of your notes are missing.

Stupid! Stupid! Where did I leave them?

And then finding them under your notebook two seconds later...

Nobody saw that, right?

Coming home after spending the whole day at the library studying.

We all feel a little puffed up and proud of ourselves when we actually study instead of going out, say we're going to study at the library, only to get Starbucks and stare at our computer for an hour.

Your reaction to finding out the smartest friend you know took the midterm the year before and thought it was really hard.

Are you - are you saying I am going to fail?

That point where you are willing to do almost anything to pass.

https://media.giphy.com/media/3oz8xsStrggdq7Eb6M/giphy.gif

Should we chant and dance around our notes hoping to retain the information? That'll totally work... right?

That mirror pep-talk on exam day.

Don't deny it, we all know we do this. There's no shame, dawg.

Having read the first question and immediately knowing the answer.

If you know the first question, the rest feels like a breeze.

Post-test overthinking whether or not you failed.

Sometimes, even if you did great, you can't help but remember that one question you were between two answers on and thinking it was the difference between an A and an F.

The moment you find out you passed!

We all want a little credit after working so hard and succeeding.

Good luck with midterms everyone! You got this, dawg.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
