It is safe to say you guys cheer for a program with a long history of success that has never been given, but in every right earned. This program has been built up with hard work from your coaches and each and every cheerleader that has walked through the program. I wanted to let you all know why you mean so much to me.
I first want to start off by saying I love supporting you guys because my sister is on the team but also want to let you know that I love supporting all of you guys as well. The reason I love supporting you guys is because I see how hard you work every day, and it truly reflects on how you guys carry yourselves. I am proud to say I graduated from Michigan Center because of you guys. You guys carry a lot of pride, support, and love in the community and not everyone realizes that. It makes me proud to wake up every Saturday and support you guys on the mat where ever you're cheering that morning.
I can not wait to see how far you guys come this year. I know you have potential and want to remind you that we have support backing you guys in the stands. I know we lost a big part of our cheer section with Eric not being at every competition but I want you all to know I'm going to do my best to take over when he is not there and keep the energy alive. I strongly believe you guys deserve all the energy and support in the stands, and it is my goal to keep the energy up. It makes me happy to see you guys so happy, encouraged, and energetic before you take the mat, something I don't see in other teams. This is why I don't mind being that "Crazy Cheer Brother" as other parents call me. They should call me "The Proud Cheer Brother " because I love cheering for all my sisters on the team.
As this season goes along, I want you all to keep a few things in mind. This season is your season, do not let anyone or anything stop you from what you deserve. There are people who are doubting you and don't believe in you, and I want you to use this as fuel to the burning fire, that you all have to achieve your goal. People are going to talk because a lot of teams want to be like you, but don't realize it comes with tradition, hard work, and passion, and is not just given right away. Carry yourselves with pride. Wear those Michigan Center uniforms with honor and be humble to every team that you will compete against because it is the right thing to do, even if it may be hard. I love you guys and I will be in the crowd supporting you every step of the way.
Love Ced
