Christmas time is the best time of the year (in my opinion). The lights and snow make anywhere a happy place. It's the holiday that makes you laugh and overall be in a better mood. The best part of the holidays is the first snow. Everyone is out playing, building snowmen, going sledding, and making forts. Seeing little kids playing outside makes my heart flutter because it's something I used to do and I have so many memories that go behind it.
The Christmas movies that get played on ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas make you want to be like those families with a fire place, eggnog, and family that do everything together. I always wanted to fireplace. When I think of Christmas think of fire places and family around laughing and having a good time. I don't have a fire place, but that doesn't stop me from laughing and loving the company of family.
Family is the definition of Christmas. It's to celebrate the successes and failures in life. Even though you might think life is hard there's always going to people to lift you up, maybe only for a little bit, but it's just the Christmas spirit. Everyone should be in the spirit!
