First of all, if you don’t have a dog.. WHY? Maybe I’m a little biased because I’ve never not had a dog but I really couldn’t imagine my life without one. I didn’t think I needed to justify why you should have a dog (but I mean you should really have at least two), but then I got into an argument with a crazy cat lady and just had to prove my point. Nothing against cats. I think kittens are adorable but dogs… dogs will always win. So incase you weren’t sure what dogs were capable of, enlighten yourself below. (And if you're allergic and can never own one of your own, I'm sorry. Like really, really sorry. Although I don't think it's possible, I hope you can find happiness elsewhere.)
1- They can make you laugh
When you’re having a bad day, just search dog videos on YouTube, or search some Instagram famous pups and I’ll promise you’ll be in tears.

2- They combat loneliness
A significant other is nice and all but no one knows how to cuddle and/or keep you company like a dog can.
3- They Keep You On Schedule
Struggling to find a reason to get up in the morning? No problem. Your dog will most likely bark until you wake up or leave you a nice little present to clean up every morning.

4- They Can Say I Love You
No seriously.
5- They’ll Get You Some Numbers
Ok ok, I know I said dogs cuddle the best but bring your dog to the dog park or for weekly walks and you’re sure to get stopped, talked to, and eventually you’ll realize you have the best wing-pup of all time.
6- They’ll Make You Feel Like A Celebrity
Every time you come home, they’ll be there, wagging their tails, overloading you with kisses. There’s nothing like feeling appreciated and knowing someone missed you.
7- They’ll Never Share Your Secrets
This one’s for my peeps who have or have had a dog in their life. Don’t even try and tell me you don’t tell your dog all of your secrets. I mean, they’ll listen, they won’t answer back, and they most definitely won’t judge you. What’s better than that?
Simply put, dogs are a human’s best friend.
