Whenever I am sad, sometimes I'll make a list of things that make me happy, smile or laugh.

Here's a list of things that might make you smile, when you're feeling down! From videos, to pictures, to activities, to websites, there's many things to try and explore!

1. Buzz and the Dandelions

If you love babies as much as I do, you'll love this video. This video of a baby laughing never fails to make me smile.

2. Dogs (or Cats)

Krista Mangulsone

Playing with animals always boosts your mood!

3. Look at Pictures of Dogs or Cats

Check out this website for cute puppy gifs.

4. This Graph!

5. Another funny video

This video also gives me a good chuckle.

7. Take A Nice Warm Bubble Bath

Take a few minutes at the end of the day to relax. Pull out a bath bomb or your favorite bath soap and soak in the scents.

9. Hang Out With Your Friends

10. Dress Up in Your Favorite Outfit and Run a Simple Errand

When you like how you look, you generally feel pretty good. Going out and having people see you in a great mood, puts you in an even better mood.

11. Put On Some Crazy Socks

Every time you look at your feet, you'll have to smile!

12. Commit a Random Act of Kindness

Tom Parsons

Doing good for others makes you feel good. Pay for someone's drink in the Starbuck's line. Offer to help someone with their groceries to their car. Buy some flowers for a friend.

13. Tell Someone How Much They Mean To You

Say all the things that might make them feel better about themselves, and then think about how special you just made them feel. `

When things go wrong, you can keep falling down or you can turn it around and look up. You can shut down or wake up, all over again, starting from right where you're sitting. You can accept that all days won’t always look bright, but commit to finding something worth smiling about.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
