A Magical Day at Disney World, As Described By Disney GIFs

Millions of childhoods across the globe share a soft spot within their memories: Disney. Whether these memories are manifested in parks, resorts, cruises, or solely in the movies, TV shows, and characters, 90% of people who grew up in the US will have at least some connection to Disney.

So whether you're a park fanatic or yet to visit for the first time, here's just a glimpse of what a magical day at one of Walt Disney World's four main theme parks looks like--as told by the characters we all know and love. Enjoy!

1. As soon as you walk into the park, you're taken aback by the overwhelming scent of sunscreen and pixie dust.

2. But that same pixie dust is soon dampened by Karen and her "Can-I-Speak-To-Your-Manager" haircut's five screaming children, likely cranky about being awake this early.

3. Your annoyance is soon depleted when you catch a glimpse of that ride you snagged a FastPass for.

4. Which, of course, turns out to be SO DANG FUN.

5. You get off the ride and begin exploring the vast wonders that await you throughout the park, only to soon feel as though Disney World is secretly run by children, as many as are running around.

6. But who cares because IS THAT YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER IN THE DISTANCE?! You HAVE to go meet them!

7. At this point, all of the excitement has really given you an appetite, so it's time to take your pick from one of Disney's countless fantastic dining offerings.

8. And in typical Disney fashion, you maaaaaybe eat a little too much.

9. It's time to walk off some of this food, so while walking around, you search for another ride to go on, only to feel a bit put off by how long the lines are.

10. But it's cool because your friend just found FastPasses for two more rides today!

11. It's been a fun-filled day, but it ain't over yet--it's time fireworks, y'all. This is not a drill. IT. IS. TIME. FOR. FIREWORKS.

12. The show was a heart-wrenching, captivating experience... followed by the least magical one of the day: park exit crowds that bring slowness to a whole new level.

13. But you're not too bothered by it, seeing as the day's events have left you feeling light, happy, and super connected to your travel buddies by such a wonderful shared experience.

14. And although you're not excited to leave, you're ready to curl up, turn on a Disney film, and fall asleep.

15. It's been fun, but no need to fret--you'll definitely be back. After all, it's not goodbye, it's "see ya real soon."

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
