Taylor Swift's newest album, "folkore", is arguably her best, and we all need these lyrics for our next angsty, vengeful, or in-love Instagram post. Here's a list of the most caption-worthy lyrics from Swift's eighth album in the order the songs appear on the album.

the 1

"Been saying 'yes' instead of 'no'"

"You know the greatest films of all time were never made"

"And if you never bleed, you'll never grow"

"In my defense, I have none"

"And if my wishes came true, it would've been you"

"But it would've been fun, if you would've been the one"

cardigan

"When you are young, they assume you know nothing"

"A friend to all is a friend to none"

"Once in twenty lifetimes"

"Drew stars around my scars"

the last great american dynasty

"Who knows, if she never showed up, what could've been"

"There goes the maddest woman this town has ever seen"

"I had a marvelous time ruining everything"

exile

"I think I've seen this film before, and I didn't like the ending"

"You're not my homeland anymore"

"Now I'm in exile seein' you out"

"Second, third, and hundredth chances"

"Balancin' on breaking branches"

my tears ricochet

"I didn't have it in myself to go with grace"

"And if I'm on fire, you'll be made of ashes too"

"And if I'm dead to you, why are you at the wake"

mirrorball

"And I'm still a believer, but I don't know why"

"Shining just for you"

seven

"Passed down like folk songs, the love lasts so long"

"Cross my heart, won't tell no other"

"Love you to the moon and to Saturn"

august

"August slipped away into a moment in time"

"But I can see us lost in the memory"

"You weren't mine to lose"

"Back when I was livin' for the hope of it all"

this is me trying

"I just wanted you to know that this is me trying"

"I got wasted like all my potential"

"And my words shoot to kill when I'm mad"

illicit affairs

"Take the road less traveled by"

"You showed me colors I can't see with anyone else"

"It's born from just one single glance"

invisible string

"And isn't it just so pretty to think all along there was some invisible string tying you to me?"

"Something wrapped all of my past mistakes in barbed wire"

"Cold was the steel of my axe to grind"

"Hell was the journey but it brought me heaven"

mad woman

"And there's nothing like a mad woman"

"And you'll poke that bear til her claws come out"

"Now I breathe flames each time I talk"

"And women like hunting witches too"

epiphany

"Some things you just can't speak about"

"But you dream of some epiphany, just one single glimpse of relief to make some sense of what you've seen"

betty

"The worst thing I ever did was what I did to you"

"A figment of my worst intentions"

"I dreamt of you all summer long"

peace

"Our coming-of-age has come and gone"

"I never had the courage of my convictions"

"The devil's in the details, but you got a friend in me"

"And you know that I'd swing with you for the fences"

"I'd give you my sunshine, give you my best, but the rain is always gonna come if you're standin' with me"

hoax

"I am ash from your fire"

"My smoking gun/ My eclipsed sun/ My twisted knife/ My sleepless night/ My winless fight"

"Stood on the cliffside screaming, 'Give me a reason'"

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
