I'm Blessed That, Out of Everyone, I Was Chosen To Be Your Babysitter

To my three sweethearts,

I love you three so much! You are truly a blessing in my life. I never knew I would end up caring for you all so much. Five days a week I was up bright and early to spend the day with you. Some days I could barely get out of bed, but seeing your smiling faces made it all worth it.

Over the two years of being apart of your life, I have tried to teach you many things like how to add and subtract, fold towels, hang up your clothes, make your bed and many other things. You taught me so much more than all of those things. You taught me how to be patient, smile even when I'm angry, not raise my voice when I'm trying to correct you, love with all my heart and laugh in serious situations because in ten minutes it won't matter.

I'm so lucky that I got to spend my summers with you. I'm so grateful your mom and dad chose me. They could have picked anyone, but they picked me. They picked me to make lunch for you, bring you to camps, do your hair every morning and so many other things that everyone else might not find important but I do. I'm blessed they trusted me to spend countless days with you.

You have forever changed my life. You keep me on my toes and know how to push my buttons, but I love you! Remember I'm only a call away...even if it's a restricted call from your Google Home! I'll always be here. As you grow up please remember me. Know that I will always love you and would do anything for you. You can do anything you put your mind too so, go chase your dreams!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
