Dear Reader,

Today I will share with you three absolutes and characteristics that establish and demonstrate the qualities of a Man that I know personally, who loves you more than anyone on earth. Yes, even your Parents!

1. He has prayed for you. Prayer is a powerful tool the children of God posses. It provides an open or two way communication that allows hearing God, as well as, talking to God. We all experience, first hand, the trials and tribulations of life. However, Jesus comforts us by advising in Luke 22:31-32 NLT: Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith will not fail." Biblehub As long as we remain strong in faith and trust God, he can conquer all adversities.

2. He forgives you in spite of the all the lies, cheating, and foul language you speak in or out of his presence. In The New Testament, we find that while Jesus was hanging from the cross with nails hammered into his hands and feet, blood pouring from open wounds, and the sarcastic mocking from his enemies; he prayed on their behalf asking God for their forgiveness. "Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice." (Luke 23:34 NLT) BibleHub Dr. Timothy J. Woods, Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, explained in a Sermon titled: Forgiveness: "Jesus accepted a punishment he did not deserve for sins he did not commit." A perfect summary of his sacrifice.

3. He gave his life on a cross so that we can have eternal life. I am sure the previous points peaked curiosity. Therefore, I will state my purpose in writing to you. And that is to share with you how to receive eternal life. Romans 10:8-11 explains: "In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” BibleHub Simple! Now you know, and, you too can receive salvation. Jesus is loving, forgiving, a provider, and a protector. He cares for you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
