The soft straps hold my feet so delicately in place and prevent me from slipping and falling. You are, in more ways than one, my life-saver.
Thank you for coming in neutral colors. You make matching clothes and shoes so much easier when I can throw a simple pair of Birkenstocks into a colorful outfit. Thank you for pairing just as perfectly with a pair of Nike shorts and a t-shirt as a colorful sun dress. My lovely Birkenstocks, thank you for being so long-lasting. I wear you everywhere, and I need you to pull through day-to-day shoe troubles. I need you to pull through walking in mud or on a dusty road. I need you to pull through walking through rain puddles. I need you to pull through me spilling sauce or food on your delicate surface. I need you to pull through the wear and tear of walking for miles. And you always have pulled through and been there for me, Birks, better than almost any shoe I have ever owned. I know I can rely on you through every situation.

Not only do I wear you with everything because you match with everything I own, but I also wear you with anything because of you fashion appeal. Some people may call you ugly or weird-fitting clogs or "Jesus sandals," but you, Birks, are the best and most perfect to me.
