10 Reasons To Love Fall

Isn't it just the best?!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons for many reasons. Here are just 10 of those:

1. Leaves change

In the fall when the leaves begin to change it is perfect. It is the perfect time to take family photos.

2. Everything is so pretty

The colors of the leaves and all the fall shades make everything so pretty. Reds, oranges, yellows, and browns are the perfect color combinations.

3. Pumpkins

Pumpkins placed strategically can bring together any fall decoration. In my personal opinion pumpkins are the bomb. They are cute and look great for most of the fall season.

4. Fall harvest festivals

I love harvest festivals and corn mazes. Since I was very young I have always loved going to these types of things. Now that I am in college, I can act like a child again and enjoy these traditions. I can not wait to watch my sister experience these.

5. Cooler weather

I HATE the heat. Like, I can NOT stand it. When it starts to get cooler, that is when I am happy. I want it to be cool enough to wear hoodies and jeans. Also, it is nice to get out and do things when it isn’t so hot.

6. Sweaters, scarves, and boots

Now like I said, I love to wear jeans and hoodies but I also love scarves, sweaters, and boots. Cooler weather means all the cute fall wardrobes come out. I can not wait to dig out my scarf collection!

7. Halloween

Dressing up for halloween was something I loved doing as a child. Now I look forward to helping find cute costumes for my baby brother and little sister. We like finding them costumes that go together (Dorothy and Todo).

8. Thanksgiving

Who doesn’t love Thanksgiving?! All the good food and fun with family and friends is what I live for. It only happens once a year and is just one of the reasons that I love fall.

9. Pumpkin spice everything!

So yes I admit I am a little basic. I love pumpkin spice anything. You could probably give me a shoe that was pumpkins spice flavored and it would be AMAZING! It makes me feel warm and it tastes super good.

10. Winter is coming!

Now I am all about fall but for me winter is where it is at. Fall for me is just one step closer to snow, Christmas music, and gingerbread.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
