Music can speak to you. It’s not just about the artist or their latest album. Their lyrics hold a power over you that transcends into your mind and evokes feelings that you didn’t know you had. Artists strive to get you to feel things and relate to their lyrics. Concerts bring a live viewing of those feelings.

Recently, I was able to go to my first ever concert. It was during my birthday weekend and Lorde - one of my favorite artists — had a show at the Key Arena in Seattle. I had bought my tickets way back in October when she first announced her Seattle show. I, along with three of my closest friends, went and had a blast at her show.
