September 22nd marks the start of the best season of the year. There are so many things I love about fall, so instead of keeping them all to myself, I decided to share the wealth! Here's my list of 22 things to look forward to in the fall!
1. Autumn Leaves
There is no sight more beautiful than this. The leaves are as vibrant as ever- yellows, reds, oranges. And the way they crunch beneath your feet... Priceless.
2. Crisp Air
Every season has its down distinct air quality, but as you can see from this puppy, nothing beats the cool breeze that fall brings.
3. Apples
4. Pumpkin Spice Lattes
Maybe this one is a little premature considering Starbucks starts serving them in August... Whatever, they're still good!
5. Pillsbury Sugar Cookies
You'd be lying if you said you didn't look forward to these... And the best part about it them is that they taste just as good uncooked.
Disclaimer: Eat raw cookie dough at your own risk.
6. Sweaters
Pretty self-explanatory.
7. Leg Warmers & Boots
Feeling comfortable AND looking cute? WIN. Thanks, fall.
8. Scarves
Pro tip: Scarves are for wearing, not for eating. Please don't choke on your scarf. Love, Alyssa.
9. Hot Apple Cider
Let's get this straight. There IS a difference. Hot apple cider is waaaay better than apple juice. And much more characteristic of the fall season.
10. Football Games
(Coming from someone who doesn't even fully understand the sport).
11. Apple Cider Donuts
Three words. Apple cider donuts. The end.
12. Halloween
13. Haunted Houses
Because who doesn't love paying money to get scared?!?
14. Halloween Movie Marathons
You would also be lying if you said you weren't a fan of Hocus Pocus or Halloweentown.
15. Thanksgiving
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce... Is your mouth watering yet?
16. Pie
Did someone say pie?!?!?
17. Carving Pumpkins
Yeah, the process may be a little nauseating but when its done you'll be just as excited as this dancing pumpkin man.
18. Caramel Apples
19. Candles
What better way to spend your hard earned money than on something you're going to light on fire and watch burn?
20. Bonfires
Wow. I can feel the warmth already. Or maybe that's just my laptop overheating...
21. Horror Movies
Horror movies are great as long as you don't watch them alone at night. Then they've done their job.
22. Black Friday
Waking up early (or camping out overnight if you choose) so you can spend money on marked down material items? Count me in!
