Alright, for those of you who don’t know already that I am a lolita fashion enthusiast. It’s an extravagant fashion that is from the Japanese Harajuku scene. And I have a secret: I totally read Behind the Bows. And yes, I am ready to receive whatever kind of salt you have to throw at me. I have to learn how to grow a thick skin right? Haha.
For those of you who do not know what behind the bows is. It is basically a website where lolita’s of all kinds of things end up on there like meme’s, complaints about one’s lolita community, or people who have vendettas against other lolitas. Basically, a gossip blog that is mostly anonymous. I am sorry guys but, I do find some kind of enjoyment in them. The meme’s especially.
This blog is not kind when it comes to criticism some of it can be flat out mean. And yes, I have seen maybe a few people that I know from my community on there being talked about. I will not actually tell them that I read it. They will know this now if they read any of my postings here. However, things aren’t going to be so angelically pretty for me now. Anyways, I read it for yes, entertainment purposes. Here are some of the best 10 things I have found on this site. The images are all either hilarious in some way, weird, or show how much attention to detail that one will need when it comes to this fashion. Next week I will give you some of the worst ways that we express ourselves. This kind of tension in a community can not be avoided and I suppose go to the internet is one way to express negative feelings one may has about someone or something. I will try to remain as neutral as I can but, I have a feeling I may tread into deep waters. Considering that I already am with this scandalous topic such as Behind the Bows.
