A List of Questions to Ask Yourself.

Why does everyone now-a-days play the victim?

A List of Questions to Ask Yourself.

Why do others thrive off of other individual’s sorrows?

Why do girls make fun of other girls for not wearing the newest brand or for not wearing make up?

Why does everyone now a days play victim?

Why do people belittle other’s? Are they jealous? Do you wish they were that person? Are they bored? What is it about them that makes them a target for your sorry life of bullying?

Why do other’s thrive off of others misfortunes?

Better yet, why does everyone comment or have something to say like they are some expert when things happen in someone’s life? Whether they know them or not?

Why are people so quick to judge others? Maybe the girl in the photo is dealing with more than you could ever imagine. Did you ever think of that?

Why do people still crave and demand more power between sexes and races and titles, etc.? Maybe take a look at how we all build the world we live in today.

Why are people so quick to point fingers?

And why do people hate those who risk their lives for us? Yet they are the first individuals to call for that help when they are in danger?

Why do we all take life for granted?

And why do we lose those that do not deserve to be taken from us young?

Why is money such an important thing? Yes, it can get us materialistic things, but those things spoil, get ruined, and cannot buy health or true happiness.

Why do we look up to actors, actresses, and professional athletes? There is nothing wrong with that, and a lot of those careers give back too many many things. But instead of a kid looking up to a figure because they are simply “famous” in the world’s eyes… why don’t parents talk about the solider over in another world fighting for their safety, freedom, and life. I don’t know, maybe it is just me, but those individuals are the definition of what a hero is.

Why do people beat down those who are trying to help us?

What ever happened to family fun nights that did not include technology and just board games?

Since when is being unhealthy a fad? And why are we in this world encouraging and embracing it?

Why does there have to be a “right” age to get married, have kids, go to college?

And why does everyone HAVE to go to college? To get more money? Yes, some jobs, but personally I would rather be happy then hate my job and do it just for pieces of meaningless paper.

If someone did wrong and did time for their crime or mistake in any capacity, why do they deserve to get punished and shamed and called out for the rest of their life? We all have made mistakes some bigger than others, yet we just didn’t get caught.

Why are people so quick to judge and act so perfect?

Maybe it is because they truly hate themselves, and would rather point fingers and play victim.

I do not know what is going on in this world. I believe that I was born in the wrong decade. But I try my very best to embrace my life and the world I now live in. I am not perfect by any means. But I know that I try my best to make sure other’s feel cared for, and important no matter what their situation. Just remember you never know what someone might be going through. So maybe do not be so quick to judge, comment, or act like you know everything when it comes to their life. Maybe start paying more attention to yourself, bettering you for YOU, and letting others go about their own lives. High school is over for the majority of us, so with that said leave the petty drama, rumors, complaints, nasty thoughts back in high school. And always remember to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Try helping and giving back in any way that you are passionate about. You will make your positive difference in this world.

Stay True,

Montana Joleen

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
