'Lip Sync Battle' Should Win An Emmy

Yes, you guessed correctly, this is about the Emmy Awards.


Many people either do not watch the Emmy Awards or do not care who wins most of the awards. Trust me, I fit in both of these categories. Seeing as I do not watch very much TV, why would I care who wins anything? One category I found I do care about is Best Structured Reality Program. This is all because of one show. Lip Sync Battle.


Lip Sync Battle is a show where celebrities of all variations show off their skills. Some may be singers, some actors, some people may just be a comedian, but they all practice to get one goal. The title of Champion of Lip Syncing. LL Cool J, the host of the show, use to have a career in entertainment himself. Which leads to his ability to host this show amazingly. Without him and Chrissy Teigen, the show would not be known for what it is today.


First, the two competitors complete one round of regular lip syncing. Almost like a practice round to get the crowd riled up. Then they do a more advanced version of lip syncing for another song. They set up a scene and dress up as the artist, sometimes even bringing the singer out onto the stage during the performance.


Overall, Lip Sync Battle is one of the best family friendly reality shows. The parents have fun seeing some oldies performed and the older kids just love to watch their favorite celebrities do something comedic and fun. This is why I think this show should win.
