14 Life Adventures To Complete Before You Die

There isn't a specific meaning to the term 'adventure', it more or less entails going on different kinds of journeys that help to broaden your horizons, wisdom, and knowledge of various people and diverse cultures. Throughout your life time, you experience these different adventures that change you as a person, and mold you into a better version of 'you'. These memories become little additional pieces added into your personality, which completes the complex person you are that's constantly evolving and exploring new things about yourself and the world. These are some of the life adventures worth living before you die:

1. Stay up late to watch the sunrise with someone special

Nothing makes a cooler date than watching the sunrise with someone you care about. You have to stay up all night in order to see the sun break surface, so you spend the whole time anticipating the sunrise by talking about all of the things that run through your mind after 3 A.M.

2. Take a road-trip across the country

Get a bunch of snacks, couple of brews, a camera, a good playlist, and a few best friends or your boyfriend/girlfriend and explore the country (and eat lots of different food :p).

3. Enjoy the single life

Don't waste your youth focusing only on trying to find that special someone. Find yourself through your independence, and live it up without any ties or cares in the world. This is especially the key to happiness for a solid number of kids in college.

4. Backpack all over Europe

Europe is absolutely beautiful and has so many places to explore. Although backpacking a foreign country may seem intimidating, you explore the world through a new lens you never imagined before and get to witness the beauty of multiple countries besides your own.

5. Drive the PCH through California

California is hands down one of the coolest and most beautiful places in the nation. Driving the Pacific Coast Highway all the way throughout California allows you to explore the difference in culture between North and South California, and stop at all of the best shopping venues while seeing the ocean and sunshine out of your window for 655 miles. Plus In N' Out is a must when in Cali.

6. Attend a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater

How cool would it be to see your favorite band in the mountains of Colorado? There isn't even an explanation needed for how ridiculously cool this is, an absolute must on your Bucket List.

7. Swim with dolphins

Swimming with dolphins is one of the coolest experiences of your life. They're incredibly sweet and very soft, and what the hell is cooler than swimming with an aquatic animal? Absolutely nothing.

8. Fall in love

Falling in love is an incredible feeling that everyone should at least experience once in their lifetime. It's a crazy mixture of feelings that you don't understand and cannot describe, but every second of that emotional roller-coaster ride is worth it in the end.

9. Travel to Africa

Helping countries in need of assistance, especially when it comes to building homes and education is incredibly powerful. This experience will humble you as a person, and make you understand what little you have to complain about in your life.

10. Zip-line through the Amazon

If zip-lining through a cluster of trees for miles upon miles at insane elevation doesn't give you the adrenaline rush of your life, I don't know what will.

11. Go to a music festival

Regardless on the kind of festival, it is an experience you share with thousands of people. You're all unified for your common love of good music, sharing the same experience and passion among an infinite number of strangers screaming the same lyrics right by your side.

12. Camping with your best friends

Hands down one of the most fun things you can do, make this an annual trip with your friends if possible. For some reason, being in the wilderness brings out a new drinking side of you that previously was hidden before hand. You can get drunk and go hike up a mountain to see super cool views with all of your favorite people so that's a double win in my book.

13. Go bridge jumping/cliff jumping

For just a moment when you drop off that ledge, you feel more alive than any other experience. You realize what being weightless actually feels like, and how small you are in the world. Tip: Do not jump with someone, it can turn bad very fast.

14. Skydive in New Zealand

Skydiving makes you feel out of this world, literally and figuratively. New Zealand happens to have some of the most amazing views in the world. Jumping out of a plane at 13,000 ft to get the best view seems extreme, but that's what keeps life interesting right?

We're all experiencing the journey of life, so why not add a little adventure and step outside of your comfort zone? Push yourself to new lengths, explore the world, have intellectual conversations with strangers. Live the best life you can because before you can even blink it's all over, you have one shot at making it the best journey you ever could've imagined.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
