A Letter to My Friends Graduating

It's that time of year again. People are graduating and are ready to start the rest of their lives. With this being said, it is one emotional time for everyone. The people graduating are leaving four years of memories and laughter to start a new world that may or may not be completely clear to them. Their friends are filled with happiness for their graduating friends because they know that they are starting a new chapter. They are proud of all the accomplishments and growth that their friend has made.

I have many friends graduating this year and I never thought I would be so sad yet so happy at the same time. I am going to miss you all so much. Whether I have known you for a while or just this semester I can honestly say you have made some type of impact on my life. I am so grateful to have met you and have had the chance to make amazing memories with you.

I am so proud of everything you have accomplished. You have worked your butt off the past four years to pursue your dreams. You are going to graduate and be successful no matter what you choose to do. Also, it is okay to not know what you want to do. This is the time to figure that out, this is the time to explore what life has to offer you. If you don't know what you want to do yet take this time to explore world and find something you are passionate about. Fall in love over and over again with different things.

Don't be afraid to try new things and to take chances. Don't be afraid to be spontaneous. Just because you graduate and technically become an adult doesn't mean you can't live care free and have fun. Live with no regrets.

I am so proud of you and I love you guys so much. Good luck with all life has to offer you and I will always be here for you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
