I want to apologize.

To the first person who bullied me,

I want you to think back and remember all those years, back in elementary school, when you humiliated me and made me feel worthless. Yes, you probably didn't think you were lowering me and making me feel terrible against your standards; even though you saw me crying. I want you to remember all those times you called me names and placed targets on my back. I want you to remember all those hurtful things you did to me, so I felt less part of a group and more part of a bystander.

To the first person who bullied me I want to apologize,

I want to apologize to you because you felt you needed to target me. I feel bad for you and whatever reasoning you had behind hurting me. I feel bad for whatever misfortune you had in your childhood that made you want to cause so much hurt on someone else. I don't know what made you feel like I was your target, but again, I'm sorry.

To the first person who bullied me, I hope your future is what you wish,

I'm not one to think bad things on someone else, and I hope your future is everything you wish it to be. I hope you get to enjoy your summer months in the warmth or maybe in a fast car enjoying the breeze. I hope you enjoy the fall months and notice that first witness of cold air as it escapes down your arms. I hope you enjoy those winter months when it's time to hide indoors for those long days, but the house is warm and you're with your family. Finally, I hope you enjoy those spring months. When the days start to get warmer and the leaves start to bloom and turn greener.

I hope you get to remember those days. I hope you find the perfect someone and eventually have a child that has your DNA wrapped in your arms. I hope she is a girl. I hope she is everything you wish and more. I hope you protect her and if she ever gets bullied, I hope you hold her in your arms and tell her everything will be all right.

I hope you live a good life, and I want to thank you. Thank you for everything you put me through. I'm stronger than I ever was before. I'm happier, and I'm no longer afraid of people like you. I'm happy that I was your target, because maybe if I wasn't, I wouldn't be here today — living an amazing life, creating amazing memories and making my dreams into a reality. So finally, thank you for making the person I am today. You have sculpted and molded who I am and I couldn't have done that without you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
