From the time we met at age 5 and played with sidewalk chalk and Barbies, you’ve never left my side, and for that I’m thankful. Thankful to have a friend who I know I can always turn to no matter what life throws my way.
I may have never shared your love for YouTubers, and you’ve never understood my love for sports, but it's our differences that keep our friendship interesting. I loved watching you on stage when you were in theater, and I love that you ask about my running. You let me blast Luke Bryan in your car and I listen to the worship music you can’t live without. Through our friendship, I’ve learned about so much that I would’ve never been exposed to if it weren’t for you.
Thank you for being my biggest supporter. For laughing at my jokes and reminding me to get some sleep. You always pick me up when I am down and drop everything to lend a helping hand.
Thank you for being around for the awkward stages, the high school years and beyond. We’ve experienced everything together, and there is no one else who knows me like you do. You never judge me, and you give the best advice. I don’t know what I would do without you. Thank you for making memories with me that I will remember for the rest of my life.
Thank you for accepting me into your family and allowing me to attend your family reunions. I am proud to be an honorary member of the Schneider family and look forward to the day that I finally get to be in that family photo your mom promised me.
Thank you for always holding me to a high standard. You always say you have to approve of my boyfriends, and in high school, I loved working on homework and studying together because we made a great team. The high standard you set for yourself is inspiring, and I value your opinions and judgement.
I hope you know that no matter where life takes us or what happens I will always be by your side. I’m your biggest fan, and I will do anything to help you.
