To my good girl,

Thank you for meeting me at the door with a wiggling butt and a toy (or bone). You don't realize how much I need to feel missed, or appreciated. Thanks for the warm cuddles and for stealing my spot, because sometimes I feel lonely. Thanks for making me take you out late at night, when I'm comfortable on the couch. Because of you, I notice the starry sky that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Thanks for making me laugh like no other. You have the funniest personality. Thanks for following me around; you're like my own little Toto. Thanks for picking up dropped cereal, because you know how much I hate stepping on it. Thanks for being the life of the party, I think people come over just to see you. Thanks for letting me know when someone is coming down the driveway. Although you aren't much of a guard dog, we always know when someone pulls up. Thanks for the squishy hugs and wet kisses. You always know when I need them the most. Thanks for letting me put you in ridiculous costumes. I know deep, deep, down you actually like it. Thanks for all the adorable selfies. You get me so many likes. Thanks for doing that cute thing with your tongue when I give you peanut butter. Thanks for loving me unconditionally and knowing when I'm upset.

You already know that you are an important member of this family, and we will always take care of you. I know we have to leave you by yourself on some days, and we sometimes come home too tired to play, but your actions do not go unnoticed, and I will strive to show you the attention you deserve. I will always be your human, and you'll always be my puppy. Thanks for being you.

Love,

Your mommy

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
