If you haven't already watched Beyonce's amazing album film on HBO, YOU MUST WATCH IT! Only excellence is expected from Beyonce, and she surely proved it with the songs for her new album that hopefully will be released on other music streaming sites than tidal. I'm not a super fan of hers, but I do like really like a couple of her songs, and I've realized that even I have been under a Beyonce coma every once in a while, when I'll play her songs continuously.
No one can hate her, especially because she represents all the progressive females telling us to "run the world". What I like most about her latest songs are that I can really relate to them more and feel like I appreciate her music more because she is evolving as an artist, in which we all expect for her to give us a song to dance too or sing about our suffering in a relationship.
But her new album, "Lemonade," is more personal and explicit, she mentions issues with her father, issues with being a black woman, even supposedly mentions cheating that either her father or Jay-Z has done. I love where she includes poetry intermissions in which we really get to hear Beyonce just speak, in some songs it almost sounds like she's trying to rap (maybe like drake). The visuals are awesome, I guess she's trying to give the world what they've been wanting. She smash car windows, embraces the rumors of her being apart of the Illuminati, embraces black women in which she has scenes in her album film that suggests slavery portrayals. But it was awesome, especially because she also had features from celebrities such as Serena Williams and The Weekend.
Badass Beyonce, seems like she's tired of playing it safe for so long, I'm glad she's really beginning to open up to the world, allowing us to be a part of her life in which she talks about her daughter Blue Ivy, features her mother Tina Knowles and shows us glimpses of her and her baby bump.
She's always seemed so mysterious to me, but I guess that's beneficial when being a music artist you wouldn't want everyone to know your personal dilemmas. I like this new Beyonce, more intuitive and aware of how the world reacts to her. I wonder how "The Bee Fans" are reacting to her new music, it's a different sound for sure which doesn't include a typical dance routine to go along with every song. Your'e gonna love when Beyonce does her dope group stance pose throughout the film with her posse, one scene they stood outside of a burning house! So if you haven't watch Beyonce's album film for "Lemonade," go check it out!
