Hey guys! I'm back again with another book review! Following suit with my previous article on Lake of Sins: Escape, I'll be writing a book review about the next Lake of Sins book, Lake of Sins: Secrets in Blood. Written by a newly published and upcoming author L. S. O'Dea.

Now I thought the first book, Lake of Sins: Escape, was good. But the second book, Lake of Sins: Secrets in Blood, completely blew Escape right out of the water. Its mysterious, fast-paced, and exciting. Its another book that I had a hard time putting down, even more so than the first one. I would also like for anyone reading this to take note of the fact that the next installment of this series is not for the faint of heart. Its quite a bit gorier in the fight scenes than the first book. So if you have a squeamish stomach for gory books I would be wary of Lake of Sins: Secrets in Blood.

Like I said earlier, I liked everything about this book. Trinity, the main character, is quite likeable which is always good. The world that L. S. O'Dea has created came out nicely, there were no discrepancies that I could find. All of the numerous characters were intriguing and had their own personalities so it's easy to distinguish them from one another.

Lake of Sins: Secrets in Blood takes place right after the end of the conclusion of the first book, Lake of Sins: Escape. And Trinity, our main character, finds herself in more trouble than before. As she has to go on the run with some new found friends so that the Almighties don't catch her.
