KPOP Music really is a genre of music that not a lot of people may know about. Here is what my personal opinion is when it comes to Korean Pop Music.

As a person, I feel like it is a fundamental right for us to discover new things each day. I feel like the more we discover, the more we learn about the world around us and who knows? Maybe when we discover something new, it could become something that we have a strong interest in that we want to share with the world.

Recently, I have discovered that I am beginning to like KPOP music and I just love listening to it and dancing to it. For those who don't know, KPOP is pretty much an acronym that stands for Korean Pop music. There are many groups out there to be discovered and it's really amazing to see what type of music people in another country tend to listen to.

Let me just say that if you think that this type of music will be weird and crazy, I think that you don't know unless you give it a listen. When I first heard KPOP, I thought that it was really catching and upbeat and it really was something that I could enjoy listening to. The music is really upbeat, even though I did not know what some of the lyrics because of course, they were in Korean.

However, despite the fact that the songs were mostly in Korean, there were a few words in the songs that were in English. With the combination of the lyrics, you can get a sense of what the groups are saying in their songs. Then again, there is the brilliant invention of having English subtitles for the videos that you are watching for the songs that you are listening to.

The dances that the artists put together for these songs are really cool as well; not just because you are watching them do the dance, but maybe you'll have an interest in learning the dances as well. I know that I have been listening to a good number of KPOP songs over the past few days and I have learned a good number of the dances that go along with some of these songs.

What's interesting to me is to see how my friends react to some of the KPOP songs that I have been listening to. The reaction that I usually get from them is either they also find the song catchy or they just give me weird looks. I just love to share what I just started having a particular interest in and if they give me weird looks, then that means that they're not really into it as much as me.

People have their particular interests that their friends may or may not find to be as interesting as the particular person finds it to be. With my new love for KPOP, I just love listening to it whenever I get the chance, finding new songs that are really cool as showing my friends the types of KPOP songs I've been listening to recently. I feel like KPOP is underestimated by those that haven't listened to it, so if you do, get the chance to listen to some KPOP music because it really is some cool music, in my opinion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
