I love reading. Always have, always will. I know that I'm a bookworm to the core, and it's something that I'm proud of. To me, there's nothing better than getting lost in a good book, or exploring a used bookstore, or checking out a stack of books at the library. These are things all bookworms know to be true, and there's plenty where that came from.

You know you're a bookworm when...

1. You use your library card on a daily basis.

2. You consider reading your favorite hobby.

3. You love participating in reading challenges.

4. A week without reading a book feels like a lifetime.

5. You have your favorite reading spots.

6. You acquire books faster than you can read them.

7. You're an active user on Goodreads.

8. You treat the books you have purchased as if they are your children.

9. You consider any bookstore your happy place.

10. You bring books with you when you go on vacation.

11. You get annoyed when someone tries to start a conversation with you while you're reading.

12. You have a completely packed bookcase in your room.

13. You often fantasize about reading in a quaint coffee shop.

14. You wish that your friends and family loved reading as much as you do.

15. You bring a book with you whenever you leave the house.

16. You believe that books have taught you many lessons on life.

17. You keep track of all the books that you read.

18. You enjoy scrolling through Instagram accounts dedicated to books.

19. You find comfort in being surrounded by books.

20. You get way too excited when one of your favorite authors releases a new book.

21. You wish that books could be cheaper.

22. You love recommending books to others.

23. You go out of your way to check out local bookstores.

24. You are constantly looking for new books to read.

25. You wish it was more socially acceptable to just start reading anywhere.

26. You follow the Twitter accounts of your favorite authors.

27. On a nice day, you go and read outside.

28. You are determined to have your future children love reading as much as you do.

29. You get sad if you go without reading for a few days.

30. You take great pride and care in your hardcover books.

31. You struggle to find a comfortable reading position while in your bed.

32. You have very strong opinions on some books and authors.

33. You could explore a bookstore or library for hours.

34. Reading is your favorite way to relax.

35. You like to go to the library for fun.

36. You wish there was more time in the day to read.

37. You will never have enough books in your collection.

38. You could never pick just one book as your favorite.

I could go on. If you're a bookworm, embrace it. Get excited over books. Take in that distinct book smell. Read like your life depends on it. Continue to fill your bookshelf and your heart with stories that you cherish.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
