There are so many memories I want to make while here at Kansas State. I put together a “Bucket List” of the more major items I want to accomplish before graduating from here. Some are easier than others and seem more minor, but they all are something I want to do before leaving K-State. As I am in the home stretch of my first year, I want to get a jump on them all and hope those reading find some that they want to take part in as well.

1. Get an internship with a PR agency

2. Spend the night at Hale Library

3. Camp at Tuttle Creek

4. Sit in on a random class

5. Go to swing dance club at least once

6. Give a campus tour on a Junior/Senior Day

7. Make friends with a foreign exchange student

8. Make the Dean’s List

9. Study Abroad

10. Hold an officer spot in my sorority

11. Get pictured on the university’s website or in the Collegian

12. Complete an Aggieville Bar Crawl (Senior Year only)

13. Reunite with my freshman roommates my senior year

14. Hike the Konza Prairie

15. Participate in every Greek Week Event

16. Run the mile Greek event to kick off the school year

17. Take corny pictures with Willie

18. Make a playbook… Based off of Barney Stinson (For all you How I Met Your Mother lovers out there)

19. Learn how to do a new talent

20. Become a stronger woman (mentally/emotionally/physically)

21. Participate in Miss K-State

22. High-Five Bill Snyder

23. Join a club that has nothing to do with my degree

24. Join a club that relates to my degree

25. Volunteer somewhere in Manhattan

26. See the sunset at Tuttle Creek

27. Become someone my parents would be proud of

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
