Winter Is The Most Joyful Season Of The Year Because Of These

The love I have for colder seasons is just a kind of different love!

Winter

Doesn't everyone just hate summer? Or at least the heat that summer brings? I certainly do hate it! I prefer and love the colder season such as fall, spring, and winter. These three seasons bring with them so much joy and bring with them the coldness!

If you're anything like me, then you will love these upcoming seasons. I love these colder seasons for many reasons but I had to chose eleven top reasons why I love theses seasons!

1. Snow...snow...and more snow!

The snow is a beautiful side of colder weather and a beautiful scene.

2. You get SNOW Days!!

Snow days are something everything loves! When winter hits we might get a snow day every now and then. Snow days are also fun because you can just either catch up on work or binge watch Netflix!

3. Hot chocolate...

Who doesn't love coming home to a nice hot cup of hot chocolate? Hot chocolate is like the demand of cold weather! Coming home for extreme cold and get cozy with that cup of hot chocolate sounds so good!

4. Layering clothes!

During the colder seasons, you get to layer clothes! Layering clothes and being all comfortable in what you wear sounds like such a mood. It also keeps you warm by being layered!

5. Holidays!

Holidays play a major part when colder weather emerges. You have holidays like Christmas, new years and many others emerging! Colder weather calls for holiday and holiday fun!

6. You'll look good in literally anything!

During the colder seasons, you can wear whatever you want even if its sweatpants and still look good. Wearing ugly clothes in the winter will make you comfortable and will make you look good.

7. No more mosquitos!

During winter you get three or four months with no mosquitos! I don't know about anyone else but I really hate mosquitos. So having winter with no mosquitos is quite a blessing for me!

8. Sledding is a frequent plan...

Going sledding in the winter has its own love! Sledding is so fun and going down a hill at a fast speed is dangerous however it brings enjoyment amongst people!

9. You can make snowmen or snow angels!

A huge part of winter is dedicated to making snowmen and making snow angels. Both are fun to make. In the process of either making a snow angel or snowman an essential thing to do is have a snowball fight!

10. Friends and family visit!

Visiting family and friends is a huge part during winter and the colder seasons. The visit often happens near the holidays! Traveling also plays a huge role!

11. Food!

Food also plays a huge role during colder months. You have big feasts on all of the holidays.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
