'SHE' is the personal development podcast for the everyday woman.

Jordan Lee Dooley is the woman behind 'SHE' and if you haven't heard about her, it's time to get to know her. She's been around the business world for a while now having started when she herself was in college.

It all started with an Etsy shop paired with a blossoming Instagram account that eventually transformed her shop into a blog called Soul Scripts. One particular blog post about the letters she wrote to her future husband built the platform she uses to establish an online community of women that she would reach through public speaking, book writing, blogging, etc.

I started following Jordan not too long into my college years when I stumbled upon her Instagram and instantly found her to be a relatable Christian woman tackling subjects about everyday life and spiritual development. Over the years, she's rebranded a few times, but she's never strayed from her core mission, to help women lead intentional lives.

And now, she throws her hat into the podcasting ring with 'SHE' and she does not disappoint!

I've listened to a handful of podcasts. Some hosts miss the mark on grabbing the listener and really keeping their attention even though they have a good message. Some lose the message because they're so focused on the audience. There are very few that find the balance between the two.

When she first announced her podcast, I instantly knew that she would find that balance so I set an event on my google calendar to notify me about the launch of the podcast. You better believe I woke up pumped to listen to it.

The very first episode of 'SHE' invites everyday women to become ignited as she brings us topics on healthy relationships, pursuing careers, embodying health, empowering faith all while wearing sweatpants. And she talks to us like it's simply over a chat of coffee.

If you're wondering if she has an episode or topic for you, I promise you that she does. There are currently five episodes and I challenge you to say that none of them are for you. Every woman can relate to her episodes.

If you're the busy girl who can easily find an excuse to say no to health, she gives you "Practical Ways To Stay Active With A Crazy Schedule." Don't worry, this is definitely for me too.

She also addresses the awkwardness of dating and gives us a guide to cultivating healthy friendships over toxic ones for the woman concerned about relationships.

And if you're the girl who wants to pursue her dreams, she has that for you too. I think this is for everyone not just young women.

My point is that every woman has an area of her life she's seeking to develop. 'SHE' isn't going to be the thing to fix you up. But 'SHE' can at least point you in the right direction, empower your faith, and give you a friend to come alongside you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
